Iron prices today, Monday 1-2-2021, and Ezz announces their new prices

Ezz Steel Company announced the stability of iron prices today in Egypt for the company, provided that those prices will be applied as of Monday 1-2-2021. The company notified its agents about the stability of iron prices in Egypt during the current week, to record the price of a ton of Ezz steel about 13,654 pounds per ton of reinforcing steel to hand over factory land. Abdel Khaleq Farahat, head of the United Building Materials Trading Company, said for money that the price per ton at the Egyptian Factory will reach the consumer at a price of 13,900 pounds per gram, including the freight for transporting the goods from the factory to the consumer. Farahat added that the price of a ton of iron varies according to the quality produced by the company, and this difference is subject to the name of the company that produces iron, and that these prices are the handover of factory land, and they rise at the merchants by 200-300 pounds. Iron prices remain stable today despite the global price decline Khaled Al-Dajwi, Managing Director of Al Masia Iron Trading Company, said that the stability of iron prices at the level of 13550 pounds per ton is not justified, especially in light of the decline and decline in the price of raw materials globally, “billet”, at an average of 1000 pounds per ton. Al-Dajwi added in remarks to Al Mal, that everyone was waiting for the price to decline locally, against the backdrop of the global drop, but the prices disappointed everyone in light of the terrible decline in sales now. The price of Ezz Steel Company reaches 13,650 pounds per ton, while the price of a ton of Al-Jarhi iron today reached 13450 pounds. The rest of the companies are scheduled to announce their prices today, Monday.

10% growth in the construction sector in Egypt

The Egyptian construction market recorded a growth of 10% in 2017, compared to the average annual growth rate over the past four years, which is 5.3%. The latest BNC report, issued by the Big 5 Construct Egypt, revealed that Egypt is witnessing a phase of comprehensive economic prosperity, especially in the construction sector. The report “Urban Development in Egypt” praised the establishment of the Big 5 exhibition in Egypt, which will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from 18 to 21 September 2018. The Big 5 is a series of trade fairs in the construction sector, launched in Dubai with the aim of building communication between international entities for the supply of construction products and services by and buyers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Minister of Housing: 380 distinctive plots were offered in 5 cities, and the allocation takes precedence over

Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, announced that the New Urban Communities Authority has offered 380 distinct residential plots of land with areas ranging between 430 and 720 square meters, in 5 new cities, which are (Badr – New Fayoum – New Aswan – Tenth of Ramadan – Tower The New Arabs). The Minister of Housing explained that these lands are offered as a supplementary stage to customers who have not been allocated plots of land with the previous offering, which was announced in the newspapers on 7/24/2020, on condition that the seriousness of the reservation is not withdrawn. The Minister indicated that the allocation will be on the online reservation precedence system, through the Housing and Development Bank, adding that the details, including (offering conditions, booking method, locations, spaces, prices, and payment method) will be available on the HDB website. To reserve the units and lands owned by the New Urban Communities Authority, as of Sunday 7/2/2021.
